The following program has been scheduled for Wednesday, October 24, 2018 @ 2:15 pm (check here to confirm schedule):
Liam Girdwood, software architect working on Sound Open Firmware (SOF), will share his story on how working on a skunk works project for Minnowboard turned into a multi product and multi vendor opensource project. He will also share technical features that can give users the edge over traditional audio. You will leave away with lessons learned from bringing traditionally closed firmware and hardware into the opensource world and how this could be applied to help create open source firmware for other subsystems. You will also leave with an understanding of the SOF SDK.
